In this week’s episode, Clare and Jeane are coerced by the Organization to participate in the Northern Expedition against the Silver King and his army of Awakened Beings. With no other choice but to go, they soon catch up with their fellow Claymores in the town of Pitea. Clare meets up with Deneve, Helen, and Miria among others. The 24 Claymores are then divided into five teams with the five highest ranked warriors acting as Captains.

Soon afterwards each group is dismissed. Clare sneaks out of town to meet the other members of the secret pact, bringing the recently half-awakened Jeane with her. They discuss the futility of the upcoming battle with Miria predicting the odds of success at a dismal zero percent. It isn’t long before a group of Awakened Beings launches a surprise attack on the town. Stay tuned for next week because the battle has just begun.
