Continuing from 20-11, here are the Top 10 on the list. It was easy enough to pick the girls. The hard part was actually putting them in order. Without further delay, check out the results after the jump.

10. Eve (Black Cat)
I think Eve is a pretty cute character. She’s really the type whose actions speak louder than words. If Black Cat didn’t have Eve, I wouldn’t have bothered with the manga and anime. She even transcends her own generic series to unofficially become Golden Darkness in To Love-Ru.

9. Akiha Tohno (Tsukihime)
The elegant and fiery Akiha takes the 9th spot. She’s something of a tragic heroine (but then again, all Type-Moon girls tend to have tragic stories) with a killer demonic power. Akiha is really the only Type-Moon girl I like enough to put on the list. My other two T-M girls (Ciel and Shiki Ryogi) would probably rank in the 40’s if the list went that far.

8. Natsuki Kuga (Mai Hime)
Vain, aloof, conceited, ice cold beauty. Oh… I’m supposed to write positive things here. Natsuki does have her good qualities as Mai Hime’s reluctant antihero though, like fighting for her friends and slowly becoming more compassionate in the process. She’s also one of the hottest lesbians ever. Rawr.

7. Kotomi Ichinose (Clannad)
The quiet, mysterious genius girl takes the 7th spot. Kotomi was bound to show up eventually because she is the site’s favicon. It’s difficult to pinpoint what exactly what makes Kotomi so moe… She just is. Just keep the violin away from her at all times.

6. Shiori Misaka (Kanon)
Next we come to the sweet and lighthearted Shiori Misaka. I am utterly mesmerized by her magical shawl. Like Kotomi, Shiori is just unexplainably cute. I don’t know what it is about the Key girls; They have this intangible, endearing quality.

5. Misuzu Kamio (Air)
The Top 10 has been invaded by Key girls. Misuzu is my favorite of Key’s tragic heroines and is just downright gorgeous. She’s just too loveable and moe. Her final scene in Air was just so breathtakingly beautiful.

4. Fate Testarossa (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha)
Feito-chan is the magical girl that entices ordinary male anime fans toward the dark side. Looking the way she does, it’s not a big surprise or anything… Even the strongest willed otaku cannot resist her. So moe I’m gonna die!

3. Yume Kikuchi (Someday’s Dreamers)
The original lead of Someday’s Dreamers is still my favorite and secures the 3rd spot. Yume is also something of a more realistic magical girl, which is refreshing change of pace. Looking through my entire list, I think she’s also the only character from a shoujo anime/manga property. Dig the antenna hair too.

2. Yuki Nagato (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)
The ever enigmatic Yuki Nagato data hacks her way into the second spot. She’s Yuki Nagato. She can do that. Enough said. With the ability to take half a dozen metal spikes to the chest and walk away like nothing happened, Yuki is quite the tank.

1. Kirika Yuumura (Noir)
Kirika permanently stands at the top of the list as my favorite anime girl. Did you really see any other outcome here? I particularly like Kirika because she has no qualms about being an assassin, and she’s damn good at it. She uses an outdated gun with amazing proficiency and can pinpoint enemies by sound alone. While her gunplay is simply outstanding, I also love how resourceful she is. Who else can so nonchalantly kill people with mundane objects like ID cards and salad forks? Cool, cute, and deadly in a single package.
