July is steadily approaching, and if you haven’t seen it already, I’ll steer you over to Moetron’s Summer 2008 Guide. This looks to be a pretty good season for a summer lineup, even if there are a whopping nine sequels… And a show based on a pachinko game, which consequently enough looks like a joke.

My watchlist: Natsu no Sora, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Seikirei

The contenders: Birdy the Mighty Decode, Chocolate Underground, Natsume Yuujin-Chou, World Destruction, Strike Witches, Koihime Musou

  1. Definitely watch Birdy the Might Decode - the original OVA was fantastic.

  2. Day Without Me: The premise of the show sounds interesting. I might give it higher priority on the list.

  3. I haven’t decided on my anime watch list yet, only my doramas. I always have more trouble picking out the animes I want to watch….

  4. Mostly I’ll be watching sequels and remakes: Mission-E, Birdy the Mighty Decode, Slayers Revolution, Blade of the Immortal, and Strike Witches.

Might also watch Nogizaka Naruka no Himistru and Ultraviolent: Code 404.

  5. Morimoli: There are a lot of good picks this season, so just pick whatever looks good. :)

Lolihat: I’m not too sure about Blade of the Immortal since Bee-Train doesn’t specialize in animating that type of show. Nogizaka Haruka is looking good so far. Ultraviolet… Let’s hope it does better than Witchblade.
