Lina is back and better than ever. As someone who hasn’t been all that excited about a lot of new anime, finding out that The Slayers was going to be airing again had me giddy as I finally had something to REALLY look forward to. Many of the main characters were returning, the original voice seiyuu were returning, Megumi was performing the opening and ending themes……everything seemed to show a return to form and another season of Slayers bliss.

Moving away from moe, the girl of the week is the deadly Saber from Fate/Stay Night. Don’t be fooled by her appearance, because she’s arguably the strongest servant in the Holy Grail War. Loyal and dedicated to her master and mission, this powerful servant will cut down any foe that stands between her and the Holy Grail. She also has a strange affinity toward lion plushies. Go figure.
