Not leaving well enough alone, infamous Japanese porn company TMA (The geniuses behind Kira Star and The Melancholy of Hahiru Suzumiya) will be releasing… Clonnad on November 7th. Why, Japan, why? I spot Nagisa, Kotomi, Kyou and Tomoyo. I guess the girl in the top middle is Yukine, but who’s the one on the bottom right? Anyway, please excuse me while I wash out the blood seeping from my eyes.

[Edit: Top middle is apparently Fuko. Bottom right is Ryou. The Kotomi cosplayer is also the worst of the bunch.]

Remember this?

[Since Yamcha has yet to load it to our database, here's a link to the site. It SHOULD work.]

More specifically, the off-screen folks walking in…

Well, that was a lot of fast-pacedness for the last couple of days. I daresay, I rather liked both endings.

MASS SPOILER ALERT AND ALL THAT JAZZ THIS WAY.

All good things must come to an end, so we wrap up a month of maids with the sexy and scrumptious Siesta from Zero no Tsukaima. I wouldn’t mind having a kinky maid like her if you know what I mean. Yeah, you know. Rawr. The selection of safe Siesta pictures is rather limited, so this gallery is smaller than usual. Hope you guys enjoy it nonetheless.

I’ve been doing some research on the Lycee card game and it’s really intrigued me. I like visual novels and have always been a sucker for a fun card game. I guess this is one of those things I always heard about but didn’t notice until now. Now that it has my attention, the game looks very, very cool.

Type-Moon, Key, Leaf and Nitroplus are among the most prominent of the featured properties. The big draw lies in the franchise mixing aspect that lets you combine your favorite characters from several visual novels into a 60 card deck. So in theory you could have Kanon/Tsukihime, Higurashi/ToHeart, Clannad/Utawarerumono/Jingai Makyo or whatever suits your taste.

The game itself looks to play like a combination of Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. If someone that’s more familiar with the game mechanics is reading this, feel free to correct me because this is just my initial impression. I’ll probably buy a deck and some boosters in the near future… When I have some spare cash. Not like I can read the card text much less find someone to play against. Anyway, what are the best online Lycee retailers for someone living in the US?

Sorry that I haven’t had much time to post lately because I’ve been getting bogged down by schoolwork. As the title suggests, this is a filler post. This isn’t relevant to anime whatsoever but is amusing enough to post. So recently a couple high school kids in Flower Mound, Texas pulled a prank that involved a banana chasing a gorilla at a football game. The kids got busted and now there’s a big fuss about it all over the local news.

Moral of the story: Bananas and gorillas are serious business. We now return to our regularly scheduled programming.

The PM-to-be’s unofficial (???) cameo in Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, episode 6

It’s official.

Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party has picked self-professed manga fan Asou Tarou to succeed outgoing premier Fukuda Yasuo as party president, which puts him squarely on the path to become the country’s first Roman Catholic prime minister.

We continue a month of maids with the stoic yet deadly Wilhelmina from Shakugan no Shana. Even though she dresses like a maid, she’s not really a good maid at all… Her cooking can be downright dangerous. But when the going gets tough, she can certainly hold her own and then some against stronger opponents.

Code Geass fans are a hilarious lot. Never before have I seen such rampant opinion flip flopping when it comes to the characters.

“Zomg Nina sux! She raeped Table-kun!!”

One season later…

“Nina is hawt now so she’s not so bad!”

One episode later…

“Nina sux again!”

So yeah. This was a screenshot I grabbed off GameFAQs which was grabbed off somewhere else. So, from the looks of things, Strike Witches has had the double duty of becoming Gonzo’s number one bestseller AND kicking Gonzo back up in terms of funds.

I… I think I had something more to say but I’m speechless at the moment. I literally can’t think of anything to write about this.

Just… Stare at that image for awhile, and burn it into your eyes.

P.S. If you must know, yes, it’s still up there.

(Yamcha: Lolis is serious business. I suspect the main reason Strike Witches is doing so well is because the DVDs will be unedited and, well, otaku need their loli ecchi fix. I’d like to see the exact sale numbers to see how well Strike Witches is doing. As of this update it looks like the Lucky Star OVA will be this week’s top selling anime DVD. I’m not surprised because it’s Lucky Star.)
