Ryuji and Taiga enact their plan to get Taiga and Yusaku closer and make it easier for her to confess to him, with the hope that Taiga will later help Ryuji get closer to Minori. After many setbacks during the day, Ryuji comforts Taiga and tells her to not get discouraged.
Since Taiga and Ryuji are seen together so often, everyone in the class, including Minori and Yusaku, thinks the two are an item. Taiga and Ryuji, frustrated at the fact that people constantly whisper things about them behind their backs, vent their anger together and Taiga releases Ryuji from his servitude.
The following day Taiga sets the record straight with the class that she and Ryuji are not in a relationship. Ryuji later witnesses Taiga gather the courage to finally confess to Yusaku, but the latter wishes to only remain friends. Again, Ryuji comforts Taiga and says that as she is a tiger, he will stand next to her as a dragon and continue to support her. Taiga kicks him in the back and returns to her normal tsun-tsun mode but is secretly happy to have him back, even moreso because of the fact that Ryuji addressed her by her given name for the first time.

Don’t let male pattern hair loss happen to someone you love.

A loli with upturned eyes. So moe!

Ryuji is frozen in his tracks when he sees…

Minori spontaneously doing the “Hare Hare Yukai” dance on the way to school.

“Just as keikaku!”

Don’t forget, “People die if they are killed.”

Suddenly our protagonists find themselves in a basketball anime. What is this, [****] Dunk?!

Loli cookies get.

Don’t worry about today. Hakuna matata!

That sounds like a wonderful phrase.

Minori: He did not just make a Lion King reference.

Yusaku: Oh yes he did.

*blush*

My moe detector is going off the charts!

You may be a dragon, but you’re still Taiga’s bitch.
Overall, I really liked this episode and I’m getting fond of the characters. But damn the story’s moving at a brisk pace. I believe we’re done with the first novel already, albeit in a very condensed form. I’m not going to read ahead as I like watching the show without knowing what’s going to happen next and because I’ll nitpick all the little details if I do.
I like the dynamic between Ryuji and Taiga. I’ll wager 100 pesos that from Point A to Point B, the two will finally realize that they love each other after many hurdles, but romance shows are always about the journey to get to that point. Even as early as episode 2, there are many hints that they’re the canon relationship. Though Taiga delivered her confession to Yusaku, Ryuji’s came up, and Yusaku observed that Ryuji was the one that made her truly happy.
Then there’s complimentary relationship between the tiger and the dragon. The tiger and dragon are rivals but also perfect companions in a sense. As Ryuji said, only a dragon is worthy of standing next to a tiger, and that’s what will eventually happen. So as always, I’m looking forward to the next episode!

I’m starting to love this series as well, and it does move really quickly, but if it were any slower, people like me wouldn’t be watching it
@blissmo: Needs moar explosions and gore to keep your interest!
Good, yet I already seen the third. Must review more.
