Spotted this news blurb on ANN that said Funimation has Gainax’s new anime, Shikabane Hime Aka, on the upcoming shedule of their Youtube channel. Does this means Funi wants to test the waters before doing an official license? We can only guess because I’m not clairvoyant. I didn’t think Shikabane Hime was anything special, but I can see it having a lot of mainstream appeal to the US market.

With Halloween just around the corner, anime enthusiasts might wish to add a little spook to their viewing schedule with FUNimation Entertainment’s R1 DVD release of the 2006/2007 series Ghost Hunt.

This review covers Part 1 of the FUNimation DVD set, which includes episodes 1 through 13 of the 25-episode series. (Part 2 is scheduled for release next month.)
