Usually when a show starts delving into storylines involving incest, mostly of the sibling variety, it’s srs bsns ala Onegai Twins, Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka and Revolutionary Girl Utena. But sometimes we need say to ourselves, “Why so serious?”. Incest doesn’t always need to be serious. Sometimes it can be fun and lighthearted, and that’s where ecchi comedy manga (and OVA), KissxSis, comes in. Plain and simply said, it makes incest fun again.

What’s it about you ask? It stars a guy named Keita whose older twin stepsisters are constantly competing against each other for his affection, often involving schemes that backfire and put Keita in compromising situations… If you know what I mean. That’s not even the weirdest part though. Both parents fully condone the relationship/s and are even betting on which girl he chooses. So yeah… Go check it out because it’s so much fun to watch. I feel bad for liking this, but it’s a guilty pleasure. If KissxSis garners enough fan support, maybe we’ll get a full season of this goodness.

PS: Preemptive Incest is the best, put your sister to the test… So don’t even think about saying it.
