Well, that was rather nice. The last episode of Time of Eve was a good long 27:45 in length, and it marked off the end to the tentative first ‘season’ rather nicely. The main focus of the episode this time was, surprisingly, Masaki, and it ended up with him reconciling with an old bond that was thought lost. And we also have our look at the series’s real antagonist so far: Masaki’s own father, who happens to be part of the Anti-Android coincil. That, however, doesn’t play as huge a role in this episode as one might expect, but his influence can still be felt during this episode.
I’m a bit sad that this little gem has ended for now, but there has been rumours of a season 2 from words on the official website, so who knows what else this company might have in store? Either way, it’s been quite an interesting ride. See you later, Time of Eve, may we meet again!
Edit: I made a silly error from writing at 3 in the morning. :<

Masaki’s father is the “Antagonist”, you mean.
That was a great show, and what was annoying about the last episode was also what gives us hope: That it ended with cliff-hangers, and leaving many questions open. Heck, most questions were only opened in the final episode.
Who knows, they may get enough money to work on it full time now. Here’s to hoping!
And I loved the show. Emotional gut-punches for the win.
I might have to cover it soon.

Stop adding series to my “to watch list” you’re beginning to be a pain in my butt!!
I’m too easily convinced to watch anime series is probably the real problem. I’m actually attracted to this series because it’s so short, I love good short series, they’re the perfect pick me up. My most recently watched favorite short series are Candy Boy and REC.

Good episode overall, but a not entirely satisfying “end” to an otherwise splendid season. Too many unanswered questions.
Well, that little stunt with the question mark after “The End” in this episode does raise strong hopes of a loose-end-tying second season (as you point out), so I’ll keep most of my reservations in check until that one plays out. More happy coffee breaks and chance encounters at the Time of Eve are definitely something to look forward to.
