Summary of the Site and Other Stuff That May or May Not Be Relevant
Posted by: Noirsword in UncategorizedI’ve really, really been meaning to get back into the whole blogging thing (especially since I’m paying for this webspace here) since Spring ’11 is in full swing, and it’s shaping up to be a damn good season from the few eps I’ve caught here and there. Unfortunately my time for anime has been almost non-existent lately due to being swamped with stuff to do in the real world. It’s a sad world when Meultima, self professed gamer and all-around weirdo, is watching more anime than me. What a twist I say, good sir!
Anyway I’ve got a ton of stuff to talk about and dissect when I’ve got the time, hopefully before the end of May the way things are going for me… lolol and all that. A giant Madoka analysis should be the first order of business. After that I’ll discuss the Spring season in earnest when I eventually catch up on those. It would help if I wasn’t more than a month behind on all the current stuff, but slow and steady is the way to go rather than marathoning a bunch of stuff and getting burned out. After tackling those two topics it’s all up in the air. Here’s one final note before I leave.

I’m currently following just four series (one of which was carried over from last season), but if my recent viewing history is anything to go by this is already an exceptionally long list. Zero to one series per season has become the typical count for me.

Greetings. Let me give you a suggestion if you decide to keep up with your anime blog: If you don’t want to suffer the same destiny of most small anime bloggers and die miserably, then either:
1. Find a way to monetize your blog damn well (adsense, affiliate sales, etc)
2. Team up with other bloggers and work on a bigger authority site that actually has a chance of getting noticed.
Not that I’m a super blogger or anything, but in order to keep creating content one needs motivation, and a motivation beyond the pleasure of just discussing about anime. (MONIES!!! xD)

I am sorry that you feel swamped with other things to do in the real world. You indicated that you are self-professed gamer then maybe you could blog about various games too. I agree with “best way to learn kanji.” It is nice to keep up with anime blog, which could be monetize and hire other bloggers to do the work for you. Anyway, good luck with your blog and all your activities in the real world.
