I hereby decree October to be Senjougahara Awareness Month. Come on, you had to see this coming sooner or later. So here it is and Senjougahara just happens to get the second best month of the year. October was already pretty rockish, and now it got even better. This is the part where I put some flavor text about the GoTM, but I’ve already said plenty of things about Senjougahara lately. You’re probably tired of hearing the same rote things about her from everyone else and me, so I’ll abridge the lead-in as such.

Blah blah blah, Senjougahara Fascination, Tsundere-chan, Red Stapler of Death, Crazy Psycho Bitch, Lesbian Tendencies, Cocktease, Ultimate Fanservice, Ah Rabu You, etc etc. The gallery’s a little larger than usual, because well, this is Senjougahara and I have a fascination with her.

I heard you guys like loli nuns with entire libraries of forbidden magical texts stuffed into their heads. I’m personally more of a Biribiri, Kaori and KoMOE kinda guy, but as per commenter request, Index is the Girl of the Month for September. Screw the request though because I was going to pick Index anyway as part of my master plan to take over the world by turning everyone into a lolicon.

Moving on, Toaru Majutsu no Index’s magical moe library does have a certain charm to her, such as… Ummm… Begging for food and leaving her signature bite marks all over Touma on a regular basis as a sign of affection…? Wait. Those aren’t charming features. So why do we like Index anyway? As I ponder this question, I’ll leave you with this month’s gallery of everyone’s favorite Magical Index. Hey idiots, I heard you like pompous lolis that berate, belittle, and just plain insult your intelligence and self worth. Me too! Actually… There are a lot of lolis that fit that bill, but the one I’ve specifically chosen as Girl of the Month is Chiaki from Minami-ke. She isn’t hesitant to speak her mind and directly insult others in the process, with a particular fondness for relentlessly calling her poor sister, Kana, an idiot. Her other distinguishing features are the bizarre, sentient onion ahoge parked atop her head and the trademark sleepy eyes that lull you into a sense of complacency –Until she starts belting out a barrage of insults.

You have to be a masochist or an idiot to like this type of girl, though it wouldn’t hurt to be both. Hope you enjoy the gallery, idiots.

July’s Girl of the Month is the delightfully huggable airhead of K-ON, Yui Hirasawa. To be frank, Yui is dumb, but she grew on me with all of her silly antics in every episode. Maybe I do have a slight bias for ditzy moeblobs, but how can any K-ON fan in their right mind not like Yui? She’s too funny not to like, and her earnest spunk just makes you want to cheer her on. The Girl of the Month for June is Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo’s super sexy (and socially awkward) space detective, Itsuki Kannagi. I usually don’t go for the well endowed girls anymore, but the fact that she kicks ass and can also pull off being cute and sexy at the same time is what makes her special. And hey, we could always use more cute, sexy green haired gals in our lives. It really is an underappreciated hair color amongst the many pinks and blues that make up the majority of weird anime hair colors, so I guess it’s up to me to spread the love starting with Itsuki. Go green!

I’ve decided to revive Wolf Hurricane’s spotlight on various anime girls with the new Girl of the Month feature. This used to be on a weekly basis, but doing this on a weekly basis really got tedious after a while. Just as well because each pick will be more significant if I only pick one girl per month.

Well well well well well well. Let’s kick off the newly revived Girl of the Month with a girl that’s recently stolen my heart, K-ON’s delightfully charming Tsumugi Kotobuki. Simply said she is the most adorable of the show’s main cast, and those eyebrows take my breath away… Submit to Mugiism. Worship the eyebrows!
