Arcana Heart provides half of your daily recommended intake of moe with less calories than the typical moe anime competitor. Examu’s all-girl fighting game brawled its way to North American shores in mid-April courtesy of Atlus USA. Eleven girls, each representing a different facet of moe otaku culture, duke it out in a fighting system highly reminiscent of the Guilty Gear series.

Posts Tagged “arcana heart”It’s not often that I’ll get to write a post on February 29th, so here’s some delicious filler to take up space. Well let’s talk about games since that’s always a reliable outlet. Okami on the Wii looks all sorts of sweet. I’m looking forward to the new controls and the 16:9 widescreen. SSB Brawl is the obvious contender for my attention once that gets released. Coupled with Octomania, it will be great wi-fi fun with a group of pals. Arcana Heart has caught my attention recently and looks pretty fun. For its reasonable price, I’ll be picking that one up as a late birthday present to myself. A fighting game filled with deadly yet moe girls. Good premise. I’m surprised it wasn’t done sooner. Persona 3 FES has intrigued me, but I don’t have much time for long, grindy RPGs anymore. The premise of the game sounds good though. I liked what I played of Digital Devil Saga, but it feels like it’ll be difficult to take the full plunge into the expansive Shin Megami Tensei without missing a beat. Not to mention the hurt on the wallet to buy all the sequels and spin-offs. That about wraps up this gaming centered filler post. Regular posting will resume whenever I get some free time. Edit: I just noticed that three of the games mentioned are being released courtesy of Atlus USA. Atlus really does have this niche cornered. Tags: arcana heart, octomania, okami, persona, ssbb |
